Student’s status. The students assigned to the Cooperating Institution shall be and remain students of the University and shall in no sense be considered employees of the Cooperating Institution unless otherwise agreed in writing between the Cooperating Institution and the student. Students and faculty shall adhere to the Cooperating Institution’s rules, regulations, procedures, and policies during their periods of professional instruction. The Cooperating Institution shall have the right to terminate the use of any of its facilities by any student or faculty member where flagrant or repeated violations of the Cooperating Institution’s rules, regulations, procedures, and policies occur. Such action will not normally be taken until the grievance against any faculty member or student has been discussed with the University and the appropriate representative of the HD Department. The Cooperating Institution reserves the right to take immediate action where necessary to maintain operation of the institution free from disruption.

  • Contractor Status The Contractor, under the code of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), is an independent contractor, and neither the Contractor's employees nor contract personnel are, or shall be deemed, the Client's employees.

  • Travel Status Employees eligible for relocation expenses pursuant to Section 1 shall be considered to be in travel status up to a maximum of ninety (90) calendar days and shall be allowed standard travel expenses, by mutual agreement of the Appointing Authority and the employee, either to: 1) be lodged at their new work station and to return to their original work station once a week; or 2) travel between their original work station and their new work station on a daily basis. Standard travel expenses for the employee's spouse shall be borne by the Appointing Authority for a maximum of two (2) trips not to exceed a total of seven (7) calendar days during the ninety (90) calendar day period.

  • Pay Status An aggrieved employee and the Union Delegate shall be in a pay status during those working hours in which a grievance, a grievance mediation, or an arbitration hearing is held. Release time for additional employee representation shall be subject to approval by the Labor Relations Officer or designee when a group grievance is filed.

  • Student Status Licensee must maintain status as a student registered at Cal Poly with a minimum of eight (8) Cal Poly quarter units or if a graduate student, four (4) units. Exception requests must be submitted in writing to University Housing for approval (or contact the Disability Resource Center if disability related) if Licensee falls below these minimums. Dropping below the minimum is not considered a standard for cancellation and will not release the Licensee from paying any housing-related fees. The University may, at its sole option and discretion, revoke this License in accordance with the provisions herein if the Licensee fails to enroll in the minimum units, or drops below the minimum unit requirement after the beginning of the academic fee period.

  • Contractor’s Status A3.1 At all times during the Contract Period the Contractor shall be an independent contractor and nothing in the Contract shall create a contract of employment, a relationship of agency or partnership or a joint venture between the Parties and accordingly neither Party shall be authorised to act in the name of, or on behalf of, or otherwise bind the other Party save as expressly permitted by the terms of the Contract.

  • CONTRIBUTOR’S STATUS Contributor is a corporation (or other form of artificial legal entity or juristic person) and is therefore a Constituent (defined in the Policy) and will be represented in OpenID by Representatives (defined in the Policy). Contributor’s initial Representatives are identified in Table 1 above, and in Exhibit 1 (if attached), and Contributor may change its Representatives from time to time on written notice to OIDF. Each Representative will also be required to click through the OIDF Online Contribution Agreement on its own behalf. Contributor will, as soon as commercially practicable (and in any case before the next Work Group meeting attended by any of its Representatives), notify OIDF in writing of any change of status of its Representatives.
