Submission of Request for Unpaid Leave. Except in emergency situations, unit members must submit an unpaid leave request to their immediate supervisor as soon as practicable and no later than March 1 of the school year preceding the date requested for the start of the leave. Except in emergency situations, a request for an unpaid leave beginning at the start of a school year must be submitted no later than March 1 of the preceding school year. Unpaid leave requests must specify the dates the unit member wishes to begin and end the unpaid leave.

  • Notification of Recall Notification of recall from layoff shall be sent by certified mail, return receipt requested, deliverable to addressee only, to the employee's last known address. The notice shall give the employee a minimum of ten (10) calendar days within which to respond after the notice of recall has been mailed. Employees who decline recall or who, in the absence of extenuating circumstances, fail to respond within the time set for return to work, shall be presumed to have resigned and their name shall be removed from the seniority and preferred eligibility list.

  • Request for a Panel 1. Unless the Parties agree on a different period for consultations, a complaining Party may request in writing the establishment of a Panel if the consultation referred to in the Article 176 (Consultations) fails to resolve a matter within 60 days, after the date of receipt of the request for consultations or 50 days in case of urgent matters. 2. The complaining Party shall deliver the request to the other Party, indicating at least, the reason of the request, the identification of the measure, an indication of the provision of this Agreement that it considers relevant and an indication of the legal basis of the complaint.   • Request for Leave At any time, employees may request the use of short-term leave (annual leave, compensatory time use, or personal leave).   • Payment Cancellation Requests You may cancel or edit any Scheduled Payment (including recurring payments) by following the directions within the portion of the Site through which the Service is offered. There is no charge for canceling or editing a Scheduled Payment. Once the Service has begun processing a payment it cannot be cancelled or edited, therefore a stop payment request must be submitted.
