Submission of Service Contract. The Service Contract shall be submitted to the Charter Schools Director prior to its execution by the parties. If the Charter Schools Director determines that the Service Contract does not comply with (a) the provisions set forth in this Attachment, (b) applicable law, (c) the Charter generally, or (d) otherwise is against public policy, then the Charter Schools Director shall notify the Organizer within forty (40) days of receipt, stating the bases for objecting to the Service Contract. In such event, the Organizer shall not enter into the Service Contract unless and until the deficiencies noted by the Charter Schools Director have been addressed to the Charter Schools Director's satisfaction.

  • Inspection of Services Subcontractor shall make the Services accessible at all reasonable times for inspection by the Contractor. Subcontractor shall, at the first opportunity, inspect all material and equipment delivered to the job site by others to be used or incorporated in the Subcontractor’s Services and give prompt notice of any defect therein. Subcontractor assumes full responsibility to protect the work done hereunder until final acceptance by the Contractor or any authorized third (3rd) party.

  • Independent Status of Contractor In the performance of this Contract, the parties shall be acting in their individual, corporate or governmental capacities and not as agents, employees, partners, joint ventures, or associates of one another. The parties intend that an independent contractor relationship shall be created by this Contract. The Contractor shall be responsible for all federal and/or state tax, industrial insurance, wages, benefits, or other compensation by or on behalf of the Contractor and its employees. The Contractor shall not make any claim of right, privilege or benefit which would accrue to an employee under chapter 41.06 RCW or Title 51 RCW.
