Summer Courses. Summer courses are recognized as being non-unit work. Faculty who wish to teach Summer courses will have preference in selecting such teaching assignments, until the start of Summer courses. Faculty will be compensated at the College’s adjunct rate of pay, as it exists at the time Summer courses are offered, times the number of Credit Hour Equivalents taught.

Summer Courses. For summer term, full-time probationary instructors teaching summer courses shall be paid at the part-time base rate and full-time regular status instructors shall be paid at the part-time longevity rate. The option of summer employment shall be offered to full-time members of the unit, who are otherwise qualified to teach the class being offered or perform the function before others are employed. Each faculty member teaching a minimum of 3 IUCs in the summer shall be paid an additional $100.00 an IUC for each weekly hour of student contact up to a maximum of $300.
Summer Courses. To the extent of their possibilities the two Sides will organize summer courses of language, literature and culture.

  • Training Courses 16.3.1 Training courses will be as described in the Seller’s customer services catalog (the “Seller’s Customer Services Catalog”).   • Union Activities If the Contract Amount is $50,000 or more, no Judicial Council funds received under this Agreement will be used to assist, promote or deter union organizing during the term of this Agreement (including any extension or renewal term).

  • Time Off for Union Activities A. Conventions and Conferences Union-designated employees may be allowed time off without pay to attend union-sponsored conventions or conferences. Approval for the time off must be granted in advance of the absence and in accordance with the Employer’s leave policies. Approval will not be granted if the absence interferes with the Employer’s ability to provide coverage during the requested time off or the operating needs of the agency cannot be met.

  • Other Activities Your services pursuant to this Agreement shall not be deemed to be exclusive, and you may render similar services and act as an underwriter, distributor or dealer for other investment companies in the offering of their shares.

  • Stewards Training Courses 22.6.1 Where operational requirements permit, the Council may grant leave without pay to a xxxxxxx to undertake training related to the duties of a xxxxxxx.

  • Summer Students a) Summer Students shall not be employed while Employees on Seniority List A or B are on lay off in their respective trades.

  • High Risk Activities 1. The Software is not fault-tolerant and is not designed, manufactured or intended for use or resale as on-line control equipment in hazardous environments requiring fail-safe performance, such as in the operation of nuclear facilities, aircraft navigation or communication systems, air traffic control, direct life support machines, or weapons systems, in which the failure of the Software could lead directly to death, personal injury, or severe physical or environmental damage ("High Risk Activities").
