Longevity rate. A longevity rate exists at three percent (3%) above the maximum of the range. Until March 13, 2023, Eemployees will be eligible for movement to the longevity rate after serving five (5) consecutive full years in the same classification at the range maximum. Beginning March 13, 2023, employees will be eligible for movement to the longevity rate after serving five (5) full years (including non-consecutive time) in the same classification at the range maximum. This is a gain for long-term employees at or near the top of their pay scale. Employees will no longer lose credit for their years at the top of the pay scale if they drop below the maximum for a period of time (such as due to the pay scale moving up when ATB raises are applied).

  • Hourly Rate (A) The amounts shall be computed by multiplying the appropriate hourly rates prescribed in the contract by the number of direct labor hours performed. Fractional parts of an hour shall be payable on a prorated basis.

In July of each year, the Secretary or Deputy Secretary of each agency will, upon request, meet with the Union, to hear the employees’ views regarding staffing levels. In August of each year, the Secretary or Deputy Secretary of Budget and Management will, upon request, meet with the Union to hear the employees’ views regarding the Governor’s budget request.

  • Commencement of Grid Rate 5.2.1 Number of days to go on grid: A substitute teacher employed for more than four (4) consecutive school days as a replacement for a specific teacher shall be placed on the basic salary schedule on the fifth (5th) consecutive school day according to the substitute teacher's qualifications and experience.
