Common use of Summer Vacancies Clause in Contracts

Summer Vacancies. Vacancies which occur during the summer months will be posted for a minimum of seven (7) calendar days at the District office and a copy sent to the Association president. An employee who wishes to be considered for a specific vacancy or assignment which might develop during the summer months may place this desire in writing and shall keep the District office informed at all times as to where he/she may be reached. If vacancies develop during the summer vacation, the District office will notify the employee, in writing, at the last address given by the employee of the vacancy and the timelines for filling the position.

If vacancies openings develop during the summer vacation, the District office will notify the employee, in writing, at the last address given by advise the employee in writing of the vacancy and the timelines for filling the position.
