  • Superintendent The Contractor shall employ a competent superintendent and necessary assistants who shall be in attendance at the Project site during the progress of the Work. The superintendent shall represent the Contractor and all communications given to the superintendent shall be as binding as if given to the Contractor. All Communications shall be in writing when made or shall be confirmed in writing, by the Contractor, within twenty-four (24) hours of the communication.

  • Superintendence The Contractor shall maintain on site, at all times during the construction activities, a dedicated competent Superintendent. This person shall be acceptable to the County and shall have a cell phone at which he or she can be reached at all times. In addition to a General Superintendent and other administrative and supervisory personnel required for the performance of the Work, the Contractor shall provide specific coordinating personnel as reasonably required for interfacing of all the Work required for the total project, all satisfactory to County Project Manager. In the event the County’s personnel are required to provide direction or supervision of the work in the field because the Contractor has not provided sufficient supervision, the Contractor shall reimburse the County $150 per hour for such effort.
