Support for Medical Center Board. The Board may utilize Medical Center operating funds to hire, pay, or contract for staff resources to assist the Board in fulfilling its supervision and oversight duties. Prior to such expenditures from Medical Center operating funds, and after consultation with UW Medicine, the Board shall determine whether additional resources are necessary and, if so, establish expectations for the amount of such expenditure. Board staff shall be entitled to access University records related to the Medical Center in the same manner as the Board is entitled to access such records.

  • Technical Committee 1. The Technical Committee shall comprise:

  • Technical Advisory Committee (TAC The goal of this subtask is to create an advisory committee for this Agreement. The TAC should be composed of diverse professionals. The composition will vary depending on interest, availability, and need. TAC members will serve at the CAM’s discretion. The purpose of the TAC is to: • Provide guidance in project direction. The guidance may include scope and methodologies, timing, and coordination with other projects. The guidance may be based on: o Technical area expertise; o Knowledge of market applications; or o Linkages between the agreement work and other past, present, or future projects (both public and private sectors) that TAC members are aware of in a particular area. • Review products and provide recommendations for needed product adjustments, refinements, or enhancements. • Evaluate the tangible benefits of the project to the state of California, and provide recommendations as needed to enhance the benefits. • Provide recommendations regarding information dissemination, market pathways, or commercialization strategies relevant to the project products. The TAC may be composed of qualified professionals spanning the following types of disciplines: • Researchers knowledgeable about the project subject matter; • Members of trades that will apply the results of the project (e.g., designers, engineers, architects, contractors, and trade representatives); • Public interest market transformation implementers; • Product developers relevant to the project; • U.S. Department of Energy research managers, or experts from other federal or state agencies relevant to the project; • Public interest environmental groups; • Utility representatives; • Air district staff; and • Members of relevant technical society committees. The Recipient shall: • Prepare a List of Potential TAC Members that includes the names, companies, physical and electronic addresses, and phone numbers of potential members. The list will be discussed at the Kick-off meeting, and a schedule for recruiting members and holding the first TAC meeting will be developed. • Recruit TAC members. Ensure that each individual understands member obligations and the TAC meeting schedule developed in subtask 1.11. • Prepare a List of TAC Members once all TAC members have committed to serving on the TAC. • Submit Documentation of TAC Member Commitment (such as Letters of Acceptance) from each TAC member.   • School Board Any reference to School Board or District in this Agreement shall mean the District and/or its designated officials.

  • SCHOOL STAFF COMMITTEES 1. If the majority of the teaching staff in the school so decide, there shall be established a recognized staff committee in that school.

  • MILWAUKEE BOARD OF SCHOOL DIRECTORS AUTHORITY It is hereby agreed and declared that this Contract is made expressly subject to the powers granted to said Milwaukee Board of School Directors, by the applicable provisions of Chapter 119 and Sec.

  • Contract for Professional Services of Physicians Optometrists, and Registered Nurses In accordance with Senate Bill 799, Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., if Texas Government Code, Section 2254.008(a)(2) is applicable to this Contract, Contractor affirms that it possesses the necessary occupational licenses and experience.

  • Composition and Meetings The Committee shall be comprised of equal number of representatives of the hospital and from the Union. The number of representatives is to be determined locally, and shall consist of at least two representatives from each party. Meetings of the Committee shall be held during normal working hours. Representatives attending such meetings during their regularly-scheduled hours of work shall not lose regular earnings as a result of such attendance. The Hospital shall make typing and other such clerical assistance available as required. Each party shall appoint a co-chair for the Committee. Co-chairs shall chair alternate meetings of the committee and will be jointly responsible for establishing the agenda of the Committee meetings, preparing minutes and writing such correspondence as the Committee may direct. Disclosure To allow the Labour Adjustment Committee to carry out its mandated role under this Article, the Hospital will provide the Committee with pertinent financial and staffing information and with a copy of any reorganization plans which impact on the bargaining unit. Accountability The Committee shall submit its written recommendations to the Chief Executive Officer of the Hospital and the Board of Trustees. Where there is no consensus within the Committee, the individual members of the committee shall be entitled to submit their own recommendations. Any agreement between the Hospital and the Union resulting from the above review concerning the method of implementation will take precedence over the other provisions of this agreement.

  • Board Committees The Director hereby agrees to sit in the relevant committees of the Board and to perform all of the duties, services and responsibilities necessary thereunder.

  • Professional Meetings Employees should be encouraged to and may, with the approval of the supervisor, attend professional meetings, conferences, and activities. Subject to the availability of funds, the employee's expenses in connection with such meetings, conferences, or activities shall be reimbursed in accordance with the applicable provisions of State law and university rules.

  • National Board Certification A teacher who receives or holds a valid National Board Certification will receive a five hundred dollar ($500.00) stipend in each year the certification is valid and the teacher is actively teaching in the area of certification.
