Suspension - Classified Employee. 1. Immediate Suspension with Pay a. At any time when an employee's immediate supervisor has reason to believe that there is good reason for the discipline and/or dismissal of an employee, the immediate supervisor of that employee shall have authority to immediately suspend the employee from duty with pay. b. An employee who is suspended by their immediate supervisor shall have the right to meet with the Department Head or an administrator designated by the Superintendent within ten (10) work days of the suspension, following which, either the procedure will be commenced for dismissal, or the employee shall be reinstated.
