Suspension Without Prior Notice. If, in a specific instance, the Board deems it unreasonable or impractical to provide an NTT Faculty member with advance notice of the reason(s) for possible dismissal or suspension without pay, then the Board may temporarily place the NTT Faculty member on a paid or unpaid suspension until such time as it can provide such notice and offer the NTT Faculty member an opportunity to meet and respond, provided that no such temporary suspension shall exceed 30 days. (If an NTT Faculty member has been temporarily suspended without pay under this paragraph and is later exonerated, such NTT Faculty member shall be paid for the period of the temporary suspension.)

  • Suspension Without Pay If Employee is suspended and/or temporarily prohibited from participating in the conduct of the Employer’s affairs by a notice served under Section 8(e)(3) or (g)(1) of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act, the Employer’s obligations under this Agreement will be suspended as of the date of service thereof, unless stayed by appropriate proceedings. In the event the Company shall give any such notice, the time period regarding the effectiveness of registration statements set forth in Sections 2.5(ii) and 2.5(iii) hereof shall be extended by the number of days during the period from and including the date of the giving of the Suspension Notice to and including the date when each seller of Registrable Shares covered by such registration statement shall have received the copies of the supplemented or amended prospectus or the Advice. The Company shall use its reasonable best efforts and take such actions as are reasonably necessary to render the Advice as promptly as practicable.
