Common use of Swing Shift Clause in Contracts

Swing Shift. When the majority of hours assigned fall between 3:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., employees shall be paid a shift differential of an additional seventy- five cents ($.75) per hour for each hour worked.

Swing Shift. When five (5) or more hours of a represented employee’s work shift, exclusive of the majority lunch period, are between the hours of hours assigned fall between 3:00 5:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.12:00 midnight, employees the represented employee shall be paid a shift differential of an additional seventy- five one dollar eleven cents ($.751.11) per hour for each hour workedworked in that work shift.
