Common use of System Seniority Clause in Contracts

System Seniority. System seniority" is defined as the length of an employee's continuous service with BOARD from the beginning date of the most recent date of employment on a regular contract. Employees retained beyond their ninety (90) calendar day probationary period shall have their system seniority rights computed thereafter, retroactive back to their date of hire.

System Seniority. System seniority" Seniority shall be defined as the employee’s total continuous service; which is defined as the length of an employee's continuous service original hire date with BOARD the Board from the beginning date of the most recent date of employment on a regular contracthire. Employees retained beyond their ninety System Seniority determines Vacation and Longevity Bonus as per Article 22. An employee shall not accumulate seniority during his/her probationary period. Upon completion of the probationary period, the employee’s system seniority date shall be adjusted back to include the sixty (9060) calendar day work days of the probationary period shall have their system seniority rights computed thereafter, retroactive back to their date of hireplus all days worked as a substitute paraprofessional.
