Taking Vacation. Vacation entitlement not taken or carried over shall not be paid out. Employees are responsible for making all reasonable efforts to ensure that vacation due in a particular year is either taken or carried over as provided in this Article. Employees with excess vacation at year end must schedule and take this vacation as soon as possible which shall not be later than February 28 for Office employees or April 30 for all Yard and Leisure Services employees.
