Special Allowance. Landlord shall provide to Tenant a special allowance equal to $84,328.00 (the “Additional Premises Tenant Allowance”). The Additional Premises Tenant Allowance shall be used and applied by Landlord solely on account of the cost of Landlord’s Work and/or the cost of other work performed by either Landlord or Tenant in the Additional Premises in accordance with the terms of the Lease (collectively, the “Work”). In no event shall Landlord’s obligations to pay or reimburse Tenant for any of the costs of the Work exceed the total Additional Premises Tenant Allowance. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Landlord shall be under no obligation to apply any portion of the Additional Premises Tenant Allowance for any purposes other than as provided in this Section 2. In addition, in the event that (i) Tenant is in default under the Lease or (ii) there are any liens which are not bonded to the reasonable satisfaction of Landlord against Tenant’s interest in the Lease or against the Building or the Site arising out of any work performed by Tenant or any litigation in which Tenant is a party, then, from and after the date of such event (“Event”), Landlord shall have no further obligation to fund any portion of the Additional Premises Tenant Allowance and Tenant shall be obligated to pay, as Additional Rent, all costs of the Work in excess of that portion of the Additional Premises Tenant Allowance funded by Landlord through the date of the Event. Prior to Landlord applying any portion of the Additional Premises Tenant Allowance towards work performed by Tenant, Tenant, in addition to the other requirements of this Section 2, must deliver to Landlord a certificate specifying the cost of such Tenant’s work and all contractors, subcontractors and suppliers involved with Tenant’s work together with evidence of such cost in the form of paid invoices, receipts and the like. Further, the Additional Premises Tenant Allowance shall only be applied towards the cost of leasehold improvements and in no event shall Landlord be required to make application of any portion of the Additional Premises Tenant Allowance towards Tenant’s personal property, trade fixtures or moving expenses or on account of any supervisory fees, overhead, management fees or other payments to Tenant, or any partner or affiliate of Tenant. Special Allowance. Starting September 1, 2012, on September 1 of each year or in the pay immediately following September 1 of each year, full-time bargaining unit members on active payroll with at least six (6) months continuous service but less than ten (10) years continuous service shall receive a payment of four hundred and twenty-five dollars ($425) and full-time bargaining unit members on active payroll with at least ten (10) years continuous service shall receive a payment of eight hundred and twenty-five dollars ($825). The determination of continuous service shall be governed by Articles 11.2 and 14.2.
Special Allowance only an employee=s service in the bargaining unit shall apply, however an employee's previous uninterrupted service with the College immediately prior to and consecutive with its establishment as a College of Applied Arts and Technology shall be included;

23.01 When a Member is required to attend an authorized Training Event which necessitates a stay at the location where the event is being held, the Member shall be paid an allowance to cover expenses incurred while representing the Service at the event. The payment will be authorized based on actual training days and does not include travel days. The allowances shall be calculated as follows:
(a) a daily per diem allowance at the current rate per policy ($55.00) if meals are not provided;
(b) if partial meals are provided for as part of the training event or hotel stay, no per diem shall be paid, but a meal allowance as per Article 20 will be paid for any meals not provided;
(c) if not receiving a per diem, a daily training allowance of $7.50 for other expenses and incidentals shall be provided. For the purpose of this Article, a “Training Event” is defined as an approved (on-duty) course of instruction, conference, seminar, workshop, including all Ontario Police College courses and Canadian Police College courses. No receipts are required for pre-approved allowances identified in this Article.
Special Allowance. A special allowance of one dollar ($1.00) per hour shall be paid to nurses designated in charge of the facility for a specified shift or portion thereof, effective date of ratification. For clarity, a nurse shall be designated in charge for all hours the Director of Care is absent from the building.
Special Allowance. When an employee works in a protective chemical suit or suits of the fully enveloping type with an independent air supply, they shall be paid a special allowance of $2.50 per hour with a minimum of 2 hours pay during a normal work day. During overtime hours, this allowance shall be $2.50 per hour with a minimum of one (1) hour’s pay.

1:02 Coordinators shall receive an allowance in addition to basic salary which shall be 24% of basic salary. An in-school administrator who assumes a Coordinator role shall receive an allowance that is not less than what they received in their last school assignment.
1:03 An administrator assigned on a temporary basis to the Education Centre in a supervisory role shall receive an allowance equal to the allowance they would be paid in the school to which they were last assigned.
1:04 The LINC Agreement shall be reopened at the request of either party to establish allowances for central office administrators who may be in-scope, and other personnel for whom this agreement has not made provisions.
Special Allowance. 22.1 Whenever an employee is authorized to use his/her personal vehicle in performance of official City duties, he/she shall be compensated at the maximum allowable rate under IRS regulations for business travel. Employees must log their mileage.
22.2 When employees' duties take them outside the City's jurisdiction, or they are directed to attend an off-premises training course, seminar or similar function, the City agrees to reimburse them for the reasonable cost of necessary lodging, based upon approved travel. 32 When overnight travel is required, meals will be paid based on the City’s per diem rates. Per diem rates will not fall below the October 2014 rates established by the City.
