Taxes and Worker’s Compensation. Without limitation, the Subcontractor shall comply with all federal, state and local tax laws, social security acts, unemployment compensation acts and worker’s compensation acts insofar as applicable to the performance of this Subcontract. In respect to any and all employees, consultants and independent contractors hired by the Subcontractor, the Subcontractor is responsible for the payment and withholding of all state, federal and local employment taxes, including social security benefits, FICA, or any similar tax, where necessary and appropriate, and that all such employees, consultants, and independent contractors shall be the responsibility of Subcontractor and shall not be deemed to be employees, consultants or independent contractors of Contractor.

Taxes and Worker’s Compensation. As a condition of this Contract, Supplier shall procure at its own expense, and provide proof of, insurance coverage with the applicable liability limits set forth below and any approved subcontractor of Supplier shall procure and provide proof of the same coverage. The required insurance shall be underwritten by an insurance carrier with an A.M. Best rating of A- or better. Such proof of coverage shall additionally be provided to the Customer if services will be provided by any of Supplier’s employees, agents or subcontractors at any Customer premises and/or employer vehicles will be used in connection with performance of Supplier’s obligations under the Contract. Supplier may not commence performance hereunder until such proof has been provided. Additionally, Supplier shall provide thirty (30) day notice of cancellation or change that would cause Supplier to be noncompliant with this agreement. Each certificate of insurance will name the State and its agencies as certificate holder (which Supplier may satisfy through blanket additional insured endorsement). Supplier shall promptly provide proof to the State of any renewals, additions, or changes to such insurance coverage. Supplier’s obligation to maintain insurance coverage under the Contract is a continuing obligation until Supplier has no further obligation under the Contract. Taxes and Worker’s Compensation. A Commissioned Pastor serves as an employee of a congregation and should be issued an IRS W2 form. The church pays the employer portion of Social Security. The church must withhold the employee portion of federal, state and local taxes. In addition, the CP should be added to the congregation’s Worker’s Compensation coverage. Vouchered Reimbursement Expenses Travel: reimbursed at maximum IRS approved per mile rate. Phone calls on behalf of the church that must be made from the CP’s home.

All insurance policies shall be through insurers authorized to write policies in Florida.

  • Workers’ Compensation Coverage Consultant certifies that Consultant has qualified for workers’ compensation as required by the State of Oregon. Consultant shall provide the Owner, within ten (10) days after execution of this Agreement, a certificate of insurance evidencing coverage of all subject workers under Oregon’s workers’ compensation statutes.
