Te Reo/Tikanga Allowance Clause Samples
The Te Reo/Tikanga Allowance clause establishes an additional payment or benefit for employees who use Te Reo Māori language or demonstrate knowledge of Tikanga Māori (Māori customs and practices) in their work. This allowance typically applies to roles where such skills are required or regularly utilized, such as customer service positions in public-facing organizations or educational settings. By providing this allowance, the clause recognizes and compensates employees for their cultural expertise, supporting the promotion and integration of Māori language and customs in the workplace.
