Teacher Development Program. 9.7.1 Classified employees who have completed their initial probationary period with the District may make application for the Teacher Development Program (Appendix E) for the purpose of obtaining a teaching credential to prepare them for teaching positions within the District, subject to the following:

Teacher Development Program. Resident substitutes, that have graduated from an SBCUSD high school, may be eligible to apply to the Teacher Development Program, for the purpose of completing internship eligibility through their university; to prepare them for high demand, teaching positions within the district. The unit member may be eligible for reimbursement for up to twelve (12) units. The resident sub may be eligible for reimbursement for RICA and CSET assessments for up to one (1) time. Requests for reimbursement of tuition costs must be approved in advance by the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources or designee. In addition, applicants shall submit a description of the course(s) content and its applicability to an approved program of studies leading to a California teaching credential. Tuition for upper-division classes shall be limited to the amount charged by the California State University System. The tuition reimbursement is paid after satisfactory completion of the course(s) with a grade of "B" or better and verification of grade(s) and costs. The decision of the Assistant Superintendent or designee, shall be final and binding, and shall not be subject to the grievance procedure set forth in Article X.

  • Professional Development Program (a) The parties agree to continue a Professional Development Program for the maintenance and development of the faculty members' professional competence and effectiveness. It is agreed that maintenance of currency of subject knowledge, the improvement of performance of faculty duties, and the maintenance and improvement of professional competence, including instructional skills, are the primary professional development activities of faculty members.

  • Design Development Phase Services 3.3.1 Based on the Owner’s approval of the Schematic Design Documents, and on the Owner’s authorization of any adjustments in the Project requirements and the budget for the Cost of the Work, the Architect shall prepare Design Development Documents for the Owner’s approval. The Design Development Documents shall illustrate and describe the development of the approved Schematic Design Documents and shall consist of drawings and other documents including plans, sections, elevations, typical construction details, and diagrammatic layouts of building systems to fix and describe the size and character of the Project as to architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical systems, and other appropriate elements. The Design Development Documents shall also include outline specifications that identify major materials and systems and establish, in general, their quality levels.

  • Development Plan document specifying the work program, schedule, and relevant investments required for the Development and the Production of a Discovery or set of Discoveries of Oil and Gas in the Contract Area, including its abandonment.
