Teachers On Assignment. Job descriptions for school-based and District-wide teachers on assignment are on file with Human Resources. Specifics within the job description will be mutually agreed upon by both the Principal/Director and TOA. The TOA’s duties must be less than 50% administrative, and the individual will be evaluated as a teacher. The Principal/Director is responsible for the selection of the TOA through the normal teacher selection process used at each site.

Teachers On Assignment. There is a District-wide job description for school-based teachers on assignment filed with Human Capital. Specifics within the job description will be mutually agreed upon by both the Principal and TOA. The TOA’s duties must be less than 50% administrative, and the individual will be evaluated as a teacher. The TOA may work ten (10) days in addition to the regular teacher contract, and will receive a supplemental contract according to the schedule for those additional days. The Principal is responsible for the selection of the TOA through the normal teacher selection process used at each site.
Teachers On Assignment. K-8 Curriculum Coordinators (Math, Science, Language Arts, Social Studies) Teachers chosen to be Teachers on Assignment will: • Either resume their teacher evaluation process on the phase in which they left or return to Phase I (Observation Cycle) by mutual agreement between the teacher and their evaluator. • Either return to the classroom or continue in the Teacher on Assignment position with the understanding that this position is renewable yearly. Notification by either party no later than May 15th of each school year will determine the continuance of the Teacher on Assignment or the teacher returning to the classroom. • Be paid a stipend of $ 5,000 in addition to their step and lane pay from the teachers’ Unit A contract. • Work an additional six (6) days beyond the regular 184 school day work year. Three days will occur before the first day of school and the last three days will be after the regular school year. • Be evaluated as a Teacher on Assignment by the Director of Curriculum as their primary evaluator. Input from building principals will also be possible. This will be a goal setting phase of evaluation. • Have the freedom to set their own hours during a workday. In light of working with all three levels in the district (elementary, middle, high school), each having their own and different time schedule, this freedom will insure the Teacher on Assignment works a regular workday/workweek.

  • TEACHER ASSIGNMENT A. Under normal circumstances, the teachers will be notified by the Administration in writing of their programs for the coming school year, including the school(s) to which they will be assigned, the grades and/or subjects that they will teach, and any special or unusual classes that they will have by one (1) week before the close of school. Changes in such programs may be made after one (1) week before the close of school, if necessary, and the teachers involved in the change will be notified as soon as possible.

  • Teacher Assignments 6.10.1 Non-probationary teachers will be given the opportunity to indicate in writing their preference as to subject and grade assignment for the next school year. A teacher who desires a change of assignment within a school shall submit a Preference Form to the School Director. The preference will be considered when making assignments.

  • Limitations on Assignment Except as specifically provided in Section 22.02 hereof, this Agreement may not be assigned or otherwise transferred by any of the Parties without the express prior written consent of the ISO Board which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld or delayed. Any person to which an assignment or transfer is made shall be required to demonstrate, to the reasonable satisfaction of the ISO Board, that it is capable of fulfilling the requirements of this Agreement, and such assignee shall pay all costs and expenses, including reasonable attorney fees, in connection with such assignment. Unless otherwise expressly provided in a written instrument approved by the ISO Board in connection with the consummation of such assignment or transfer, any such assignment or other transfer by a Party of any of its rights and obligations under this Agreement shall not release, or in any way modify, the assigning or transferring party’s liability for the performance of its obligations hereunder.

  • Non-Assignment This Agreement shall not be assigned by either party without the written consent of the other party.

  • Shift Assignments When an opening occurs in a shift assignment in an appropriate work group at a location, preference shall be given to employees within the classification who possess the training, ability and any required special qualifications to perform the work required, on the basis of seniority. In the event that no employee desires a shift assignment, employees shall be selected in order of inverse seniority. This provision shall not apply to necessary training assignments. This provision shall not in itself alter the practice of rotating shifts where such practice presently exists. No employee who has a regular shift assignment on the effective date of the Agreement shall be involuntarily displaced from such shift assignment as a result of this Article.

  • Teachers on Special Assignment Employees who are in the following categories are considered to be Teachers on Special Assignment (TOSA): Professional Development specialists, program specialists, consulting teachers, etc.

  • Shift Assignment Should the University elect to establish a shift on any other schedule than the regular day shift (Monday through Friday) or to assign employees to work on any such shift, the employee(s) with the most seniority in the classification affected or to be assigned on such shift shall have preference in moving to such shift. If an insufficient number of employees in the classification elect to move to such shift, then the employee(s) with the least seniority in the classification shall be assigned to such shift. If positions or shifts are reduced or eliminated or movement of personnel to other shifts is required, then the seniority of the affected employee will prevail in the selection of shift, provided the affected employee can do the required work. Such shift preference is only applicable within the employee's classification.

  • Summer Assignments Employees who worked less than a 12-month schedule at the 10 time of their work-related accident will not be guaranteed summer employment while 11 participating in the Alternate Duty Program.

  • Restriction on Assignment No party will assign or transfer any part of its respective rights or obligations under this Agreement without the prior consent of the others (such consent not to be unreasonably withheld or delayed), provided that:
