TEACHER CONTRACT. Subd. 1 All teachers employed by the District in other than a reserve/substitute or temporary capacity shall have an individual probationary or continuing contract pursuant to M.S. 122A.40 as amended. A copy of the form of this contract is appended to this Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Subd. 2 All reserve/substitute teachers employed by the District for at least one (1) school year to replace a regular teacher who has been granted a leave of absence, shall have an individual reserve/substitute contract subject to the provisions of M.S. 122A.

TEACHER CONTRACT. 11.01 The teacher contract and/or notification of appointment for present employees will be issued no later than June 1. Said contract and/or notification of appointment will contain the following information (when available):
a. Type of Contract (limited or continuing)
b. School Year
c. Name
d. Base salary - annual
e. Statement of salary classification on contract or addendum to contract.
11.02 The individual teacher contract shall be subject to any provisions set forth in the Agreement between the Board and SHTA and the Board Policy Book.
11.03 Staff members are responsible for upgrading or renewal of certificates or licensure. The Director of Human Resources in collaboration with the Director of Professional Learning will notify the teacher when his/her certificates/licenses are up for renewal. A copy of the notice will be provided to the LPDC building representative.
TEACHER CONTRACT. Teachers shall have an initial contract upon hire and an annual salary notice thereafter. Initial contracts shall terminate on June 30th of the school year in which they are executed. Within seven (7) business days of a teacher’s initial date of hire, contract signature pages shall be time and date stamped and a copy of the original will be returned to all new hires. Annual salary notifications shall be given for the subsequent fiscal year periods.

11.02 The individual teacher contract shall be subject to any provisions set forth in the Agreement between the Board and SHTA and the Board Policy Book.
11.03 During the months of the first semester it is expected that the administrator in charge of personnel will be available to conduct meetings in each building to inform staff members of any necessity or possible upgrading or renewal of certificates or licensure.
TEACHER CONTRACT. The annual teachers’ contract shall be delivered to the Association members by April 15 (or a suitable explanation in writing if contracts are to be delayed for any reason).
TEACHER CONTRACT. Section A - The parties agree that every teacher suffered or permitted to work will be required each school year to sign an individual contract of employment as provided in Section 569 of the School Code.
Section B - If any provisions of this agreement or any application of the agreement to any employee or group of employees shall be found contrary to law then such provision or application shall not be deemed valid and subsisting except to the extent permitted by law but all other provisions or applications shall continue in full force and effect.
Section C - This agreement shall supersede any rules, regulations or practices of the Board which shall be contrary to or inconsistent with its terms. The provisions of this agreement shall be incorporated into and be considered part of the established policies of the Board.
