Teaching Faculty Member’s Course Materials. Each faculty member must submit a Course Materials Packet to be reviewed by the Department Chair and the DEPC. The Course Materials Packet is to include materials used in teaching during the evaluation period. These materials may have been created by the faculty member, selected from other sources, or created in collaboration with others. Any materials developed in collaboration with others must identify the collaborators. Materials obtained from some other source must include the identification of the original source. Faculty must submit their course syllabi structured in accordance with the University’s Faculty Syllabus Checklist (Appendix B.1, pg. 7). The materials included in the Course Materials Packet should reflect the faculty member’s performance in the areas of instructional delivery; instructional design; content expertise; course management; integration or research; and advising. Such materials may include descriptions of any innovative instructional techniques, activities designed to enhance student writing skills, revisions of course material to reflect current research, the use of technology in teaching, etc.

  • Course Materials The adoption of any course materials, print or electronic, after a Course Agreement is signed will require an agreed and signed addendum.

  • Faculty Workload The workload of faculty includes student advising, maintaining and improving expertise in a discipline and in pedagogy, serving on departmental and university committees, contributing to student growth and development, evaluating student performance, scholarly activities, and service to university and community, as well as teaching and class preparation. Additionally, as a professional, a faculty member shall devote a substantial amount of his/her workload to course preparation, research, the maintenance of professional expertise, innovations in teaching/learning and other similar activities. These endeavors shall comprise the faculty member’s workload.

  • Medical Information Throughout the Pupil's time as a member of the School, the School Medical Officer shall have the right to disclose confidential information about the Pupil if it is considered to be in the Pupil's own interests or necessary for the protection of other members of the School community. Such information will be given and received on a confidential, need-to-know basis.
