Temperature of Concrete. Temperature of concrete as placed, critical to cracking control and durability, shall, preferably not exceed about 32.20 C (900 F). Accordingly, placement of concrete in hot weather shall be done during the morning and evening hours, extending to night hours as required. For work in extreme weather conditions, the procedure set out in IS 7861 (Part- 10 or IS 7861 (Part-2) be broadly followed.

Temperature of Concrete. Fresh structural concrete and fresh canal lining concrete shall be placed at temperature of between 15 0C to 32 0C. During Hot or cold weather, the concreting should be done as per the procedure set in L.S. 7861 (Part – I – 1975 or I.S. 7861 (Part – II)). Temperature will be determined by placing a thermometer in the concrete immediately after sampling at the site of placement. The temperature of concrete at the batch plant shall be adjusted to assure that the specified concerted temperature is attained at the placement. In case of concrete in hot weather condition, the contractor shall employ effective means as precooling of aggregates and sprinkling water on aggregate piles and placing the concrete at night, as necessary to maintain the temperature of the concrete as it is placed at the specified transmit. The methods of precooling shall be subject to approval by the Engineer-in-Charge. The contractor shall not be entitled for any additional compensation due to the foregoing requirements.
Temperature of Concrete. The temperature of concrete when it is being placed shall be not more than 90 degrees F nor less than 40 degrees F in moderate weather, and not less than 50 degrees F in weather during which the mean daily temperature drops below 40 degrees F. Concrete ingredients shall not be heated to a temperature higher than that necessary to keep the temperature of the mixed concrete, as placed, from falling below the required minimum temperature. If concrete is placed when the weather is such that the temperature of the concrete would exceed 90 degrees F, the CONTRACTOR shall employ effective means, such as precooling of aggregates and mixing water, using ice, or placing at night, as necessary to maintain the temperature of the concrete, as it is placed, below 90 degrees F. The CONTRACTOR shall be entitled to no additional compensation on account of the foregoing requirements.

  • Reactivation To reactivate suspended Service, you must bring your account current through the month of reactivation by making payment in full of any outstanding balance, fees and other applicable charges. In addition, we may require a deposit before reactivating your Service. The amount of the deposit will not exceed one year of monthly fees. Any amounts deposited by you will appear on your statement as a credit, and service charges and other fees will be invoiced as described above. If you fail to pay any amount on a subsequent xxxx, the unpaid amount will be deducted each billing cycle from the credit amount. Credit amounts will not earn or accrue interest.
