Temporary and Seasonal Employees. A temporary or seasonal employee is an individual who performs work within the bargaining unit covered by this Agreement for a predetermined period of time to fill positions left vacant by reason of leaves of absence, vacations and emergencies, or is employed to supplement the work force. Temporary and seasonal employees shall not be included in the bargaining unit and shall not be employed in excess of one hundred and eighty (180) calendar days in any twelve

The Employer reserves the right to determine all conditions of employment for such individuals. Temporary employees shall not be used to permanently replace regular employees covered by this agreement.
