Temporary Assignment to a Higher Position. The assignment of a nurse to any higher position for any eight (8) hour period or longer shall result in the nurse being compensated at either the base rate of pay of that position, or her or his regular rate of pay plus the Medical Center’s premium for temporary assignment, whichever is greater.
