Temporary Assignments to a Higher. Paid Position An employee assigned to work in a higher paid position for one (1) day or longer shall be compensated at the longevity step of the higher paid position that would constitute a minimum of a fifty cent ($0.50) increase above the employee’s regular rate of pay.
