Common use of Temporary Downgrading Clause in Contracts

Temporary Downgrading. If it is necessary to assign a status employee on a temporary basis to a temporary or permanent position which is classified at a lower level, the employee's salary, at the time immediately prior to such assignment, will be maintained.

Temporary Downgrading. If it is necessary to assign a status employee on a temporary basis to a temporary or permanent position which is classified at a lower level, the employee's salary, salary shall be retained at the time immediately level of the employee's permanent position prior to such assignment for the duration of the temporary assignment, will be maintained.
