TRANSFERS OUT OF BARGAINING UNIT. Anyone transferred out of the bargaining unit will continue to accumulate bargaining unit seniority rights for twelve (12) months following his transfer, after which time he shall have no bargaining unit seniority.

TRANSFERS OUT OF BARGAINING UNIT. 34.01 Employees who are or have been appointed or selected for a supervisory position, or for any position not subject to the provisions of the Agreement, will not be covered by the provisions of this Agreement. However, if any employee on a seniority list covered by this Agreement is transferred or appointed to a position outside of the Bargaining Unit and is transferred back within a three month period after the date of such appointment, he/she shall be accredited with only the seniority which he/she held prior to such an appointment and shall displace the most junior employee in the plant upon his/her entry except in the case of skilled trades, where he/she will be allowed to displace the most junior employee in his/her former trade classification. If an employee, after the completion of the three (3) month period, is transferred back into the Bargaining Unit to a job covered by this Agreement, he/she shall be considered a new employee for the purpose of seniority.

If an employee is transferred to a position outside the Bargaining Unit, he shall retain his seniority to the date of such transfer, but will not accumulate any further seniority.
TRANSFERS OUT OF BARGAINING UNIT. (a) An employee transferred by the Company to a position outside the Bargaining Unit shall maintain the seniority held at the time of transfer for a period of twelve (12) months for the purpose of transferring back into Bargaining Unit at the employee's original permanent position.

If the Company or the employee concerned requests a retransfer back to his bargaining unit before the end of the twelve (12) month period, the employee shall be returned to his previous job classification in his bargaining unit as will any other employee whose job classification was changed as a result of such transfer. Employees shall only be allowed one (1) such twelve (12) month period during their employment with the Company.
