Common use of Term Life Clause in Contracts

Term Life. The District will pay the premium of a $100,000 term life AD&D insurance policy for the employee. The employee will have the option to purchase at personal expense an additional $50,000 of term life insurance on themselves. The employee shall also have the right to purchase an additional $10,000 spouse and $5,000 on each eligible dependent. In the event of long-term disability, it shall be the responsibility of the program supervisor to file for a waiver of premium within twelve (12) months of the qualifying event.
