Term of Leave. Leave must begin no earlier than the birth or adoption of the child and end no later than fifty-two (52) weeks following the birth or adoption of the child. Employees taking maternity leave of absence and requesting parental leave must commence the parental leave immediately on the expiration of the maternity leave, unless the Employer and employee agree otherwise.
