Terms of Assistance. Unlike the Section 8 programs which make payments to the landlord, HOME TBRA payments may be made either to the unit owner or the tenant. The term of the rental assistance contract must begin on the first day of the lease. For a rental assistance contract between the PJ and an owner, the term of the contract must end upon termination of the lease. If a PJ makes payments directly to the family, that agreement need not end upon termination of the lease, but no payments may be made after termination of the lease until the family enters into a new lease. TBRA agreements may not exceed 24 months. However, the PJ, at its discretion, may renew a TBRA agreement.
Terms of Assistance. The assistance will be paid quarterly commencing with the first quarter of 2004 (January through March), and ending with the fourth quarter of 2004 (October through December). • The contribution from PJI shall be based on total sales upon which Royalties are actually received in cash by PJI for each quarter from the franchisee’s 16 stores in the DMA (no other restaurants or markets are included). • The quarterly contribution shall be equivalent to the following percentage of total restaurant sales upon which Royalties are actually received in cash by PJI: Quarterly PSA Marketing Assistance Below $12,000 4 % $12,001 — $12,500 2 % $12,501 — $13,000 1 % Over $13,000 0 % • PJI may terminate the program beginning with the next cancelable media flight if: (1) any restaurant is closed without express written consent of PJI’s Chief Development Officer, not to be unreasonably withheld; or (2) any claim or lawsuit arises between PJI and Franchisee.
Terms of Assistance. This training will unveil the new publication on Terms of Assistance. It will discuss the continuum of options for providing SHIP assistance, from offering grants to establishing direct loans that must be repaid in monthly installments. The following questions will be addressed: What considerations go into deciding when to make a grant versus a loan? If you make a loan, how do you secure it? Learn what is involved in establishing and recording the agreement. This training will help with the decision to establish a payment schedule or forgive a portion of assistance after a certain number of years. It will also address SHIP Subordination Policy at a time when increasing numbers of SHIP assisted properties require refinancing related to forbearance and modifications and provide guidance on direct loans compared to deferred payment loans. Finally, it will discuss model language and best practices for incorporating Community Land Trusts (CLTs) in your local SHIP strategy.
Terms of Assistance. Section 8. Participation in the Tuition Assistance Program (the “Program”) requires a minimum number of employees participating, and is also limited to a maximum number of employees based upon funding. Therefore, the Employee acknowledges that he or she must obtain prior written approval from the Superintendent of RCCSS to participate in the Program.
