TERMS OF REFERENCES. The committee will apply the following terms of reference 1. Direct Instructional Component In respect to Article 14 .2, direct Instructional responsibilities includes the following: 🞘 classroom lectures; 🞘 shop and laboratory shop supervision and instruction; 🞘 classroom learning sessions; 🞘 seminar/discussion groups. 🞘 Each program will establish an annual direct instructional workload. 🞘 Workloads will range between twenty (20) to twenty-five (25) hours per week hours and described as a percentage (%) of the Full Time Equivalency allocation. 🞘 Current program direct instructional workloads that are under 20 hours per week will be maintained. 🞘 Health programs will be based on an average workload consisting of clinical and class theory. 🞘 Overtime will be accrued based on direct instructional work in excess of 100% FTE of the instructional workload in accordance with Article 15. 2. Indirect instructional Component In respect to Article 14 .2, self-directed indirect Instructional responsibilities include the following: ⬝ student interviews; 🞘 posted office hours; 🞘 instructional advising, evaluation, and preparation; 🞘 administrative responsibilities; 🞘 curriculum maintenance and program enhancement; 🞘 professional development activities; � other duties directly related to instruction. 🞘 liaising on student placements and assessments Instructors are expected to attend department meetings and to participate in department initiatives. Department meetings will be arranged to accommodate the majority of instructors’ teaching schedules. 3.
TERMS OF REFERENCES. The GCOS Engagement Management Committee is thea strategic advisory group of the sponsors composed of the signing parties of the MoU. Its whose primary purpose is to oversee ensure that GCOS finances , to agree on the budgeting of the GCOS technical cooperation programme, to mandate GCOS Panels and expert groups and to set general directions for GCOS operation and development. can fulfil the sponsors’ and users’ expectations, as articulated in a revised Memorandum of Understanding. The Committee will focus activities and strategy at the sponsor, user and agency level. It will facilitates building a broadernew constituency for GCOS by developing links with groups not traditionally engaged with the GCOS climate-observing community. Close stakeholder engagement will ensure that GCOS continues to provide relevant and informed guidance and solutions for an effective global climate observing system. Its main functions are: To guide the implementation of the program based on advice and note the advise and provide and recommendations to theprovided by the Steering Committee, the Director of the GCOS Secretariat and the sponsors on programme priorities that require new resources; To agree on the GCOS budget To receive advice of recommendations from the Steering Committee and the Director of the GCOS Secretariat; To agree to and oversee the GCOS engagement and communication strategy, particularly by providing strategic guidance, and by finding new ways to xxxxxx engagement and partnership with users; To provide advice to GCOS secretariat on fund-raising strategy and activities; and in general make the objectives, resource requirements, capabilities and outputs of GCOS known to relevant national and international bodies. To advise on developments and impacts of new Earth Observing initiatives; To provide guidance on how to improve engagement with the private sector in matters of global climate observations. To decide about requests of other organisations to become signatory parties of the MoU Annual mMeetings will be organized by the GCOS Secretariat based on the request of a sponsoring agency. If there is no request for a calendar year, a meeting will be called for by the GCOS secretariat.

  • Terms of Reference The SSEC shall update, not later than January 31, 2023, the terms of reference for the committee. If no such agreement can be reached the SSEC shall make recommendations to the Provincial Labour Management Committee (PLMC). Funding: Commencing July 1, 2022, there will be $50,000 of annual funding allocated for the purposes set out above.
