Common use of Test and Interview Leave Clause in Contracts

Test and Interview Leave. Unless such leave shall handicap the efficiency of the employee's work unit, an employee may request and have approved test and/or interview leave as defined below. An employee shall be allowed appropriate time off with pay to take tests related to promotional opportunities within the Agency. Additionally, up to two (2) hours with pay shall be allowed for an interview for a position with another State agency, or a position within the Agency.
