Donations It is recognized that the Employer may sponsor donations to worthy charitable organizations. However, no employee shall be required to make contributions nor shall any employee be told a specific amount he should contribute. There shall be no compulsion with regard to such contributions.
Blood Donations An employee may be granted leave with pay, up to a maximum of two (2) hours, for donating blood during regularly scheduled hours of work.
Catering Cafeteria style of serving meals will be acceptable, providing dishes are carried back by the Culinary Staff. The food shall be of good quality and have the approval of the Camp Committee of the Building and Construction Trades Council of Ontario. There shall be sufficient housekeeping staff supplied by the Culinary Workers to keep the bunkhouses clean, and beds shall be made up each day by such staff. Kitchen facilities, equipment and food supplies shall be subject to inspection by the duly authorized Camp Committee at any and all times and further all grievances shall be dealt with by said Committee.
Medications Psychotropic medications and medications associated with treating a diagnosed mental health condition.
Vaccinations Contractor understands, acknowledges, and agrees that, pursuant to Article II of the General Appropriations Act, none of the General Revenue Funds appropriated to the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) may be used for the purpose of promoting or advertising COVID-19 vaccinations in the 2024-25 biennium. It is also the intent of the legislature that to the extent allowed by federal law, any federal funds allocated to DSHS shall be expended for activities other than promoting or advertising COVID-19 vaccinations. Contractor represents and warrants that it is not ineligible, nor will it be ineligible during the term of this Contract, to receive appropriated funding pursuant to Article II.
Rosters 8.1 As far as practically possible, the Employer will draw up a roster 1 week in advance. Changes to rosters may occur with 24 hours notice or, subject to the availability of the Employee, with less notice if by mutual consent. 8.2 The Employer will ordinarily roster Employees in a manner that is both fair and equitable to ensure that, where applicable, the allocation of weekend and public holiday hours are equally divided between Employees on a rotating basis.
Alcoholic Beverages Costs of alcoholic beverages are unallowable.
Donation something of value voluntarily transferred by or on behalf of a member to the MCO without compensation. a) Something of value means cash or some other existing identifiable items that has a fair market value of more than $100.00. b) Voluntarily transferred means any of the following: i. The member or another person on behalf of the member transferring the item of value has the intention to voluntarily give it without compensation; ii. The member or other person on behalf of the member transferring the gift is legally competent (in order to have intention); iii. The MCO receiving the gift is an eligible recipient (e.g., some entities have prohibitions against employees accepting gifts); iv. The item of value is an existing identifiable thing (e.g., a promise to give something in the future is not a gift); or v. The item of value is actually transferred.
Medicaid If and when the Resident’s assets/funds have fallen below the Medicaid eligibility levels, and the Resident otherwise satisfies the Medicaid eligibility requirements and is not entitled to any other third party coverage, the Resident may be eligible for Medicaid (often referred to as the “payor of last resort”). Procurement of Goods and Services (a) If the HSP is subject to the procurement provisions of the BPSAA, the HSP will abide by all directives and guidelines issued by the Management Board of Cabinet that are applicable to the HSP pursuant to the BPSAA. (b) If the HSP is not subject to the procurement provisions of the BPSAA, the HSP will have a procurement policy in place that requires the acquisition of supplies, equipment or services valued at over $25,000 through a competitive process that ensures the best value for funds expended. If the HSP acquires supplies, equipment or services with the Funding it will do so through a process that is consistent with this policy.
