Time Employees' Seniority Accrual. In determining seniority scores for full-time employees, one (1) seniority point shall be awarded for each qualifying monthly pay period of full-time State service in classifications defined in paragraph B.1. above. A pay period in which a full-time employee works eleven (11) or more days will be considered a qualifying pay period except that when an absence from State service resulting from a temporary or permanent separation for more than eleven (11) consecutive work days falls within two (2) consecutive pay periods, the second pay period shall be disqualified. This definition shall apply to all of the employee's work history regardless of when it occurred.

  • Seniority Accrual All paid leaves shall be treated as continuous employment for the purposes of seniority accrual. Unpaid leaves shall be treated as continuous employment for the purposes of seniority accrual for the duration of the leave, except for movement up the salary increment scale.
