Time for Annual Leave. The scheduling of annual leave shall be determined by the supervisor appointing authority after mutual consideration of employee convenience and administrative requirements. An employee's ’s supervisor will respond in writing to written requests for annual leave (Form PER 1082) within twenty-oneone (21) calendar days of receipt of the written request. If a request is denied, the supervisor will state the specific administrative requirements for the denial. It is understood that the criteria used by departments to prioritize annual leave requests may vary by function, specialty, occupational area, skill and/or organizational unit.
