Time Off Duty Between Shifts. (a) A period of at least 15 hours shall be scheduled between shifts; (b) A period of at least 23.5 hours shall be scheduled between shift changes; (c) In the event an Employee is called in and works at premium rates of pay three (3) or more hours of the eight (8) hours immediately preceding her next assigned shift of regular duty, she shall have the right, except in emergent situations, to designate that assigned shift or part thereof as an unpaid rest period with no loss of seniority.

  • Time Off in Lieu of Overtime Employees who work overtime will not be required to take time off in regular hours to make up for overtime worked. Time off in lieu may be taken on a mutually agreed upon basis between the employee and the Hospital, such time off will be the equivalent of the premium rate the employee has earned for working overtime. The Hospital shall revert to payment of premium rate if time off is not taken within sixty (60) calendar days."

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An Employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double time and one-half (2½) for hours worked, plus a day off subject to this Agreement.
