No Loss of Seniority Sample Clauses
No Loss of Seniority. An employee absent from work because of sickness, accident or leave of absence approved by the Board, shall not lose their seniority.
No Loss of Seniority. An employee shall not suffer loss of seniority for any of the following reasons: unjust discharge, layoff, promotion, demotion, transfer, reclassification, compulsory military service, vacation or any recognized leave.

i) an employee with up to one year of service will be on recall for 12 months ii) an employee with one to 5 years of service will be on recall for 18 months iii) an employee with five plus years will be on recall for 24 months A person on recall shall be required to bid on vacant positions if they want off the recall list. When a regular employee on recall assumes a temporary position, the time spent in the temporary position shall be added to his recall period. The maximum amount of time an employee can be on the recall list at any one time shall be forty-eight (48) months

No loss of seniority and/or benefit entitlement shall occur if a regular employee is absent from work because of sickness, accident, Workers' Compensation Board Claim, maternity leave, parental leave, temporary lay-off, or approved general leave of absence up to twenty (20) working days.
No Loss of Seniority. There shall be no loss of seniority for employees on leave of absence including illness, Workers' Compensation, except as may be mutually agreed upon in writing between the Company and the Union.
