TIMELY LEAVE DECISIONS. Except for annual leave scheduled in advance as described in Subsection (6) below, the supervisor will update WebTA, or the OPM-71 where required, within three business days of the employee’s request being submitted via WebTA, or the OPM-71. However, barring operational need, a request submitted for early departure will be decided within 2 hours of submission.

  • Sabbatical Leave Committee Shall consist of the following:

  • Personnel Selection Leave With Pay Where an employee participates in a personnel selection process, including the appeal process where applicable, for a position in the Public Service or in the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, as defined in the Public Service Labour Relations Act, the employee is entitled to leave with pay for the period during which the employee's presence is required for purposes of the selection process, and for such further period as the Employer considers reasonable for the employee to travel to and from the place where his presence is so required.

  • Investigatory Leave The Appointing Authority/designee may place an employee who is the subject of a disciplinary investigation on an investigatory leave with pay provided a reasonable basis exists to warrant such leave.

  • Court Duty Leave Any teacher who is called for jury duty or is a subpoenaed court witness shall receive a leave of absence to fulfill his/her civil obligation. The teacher will be paid the difference between his/her full pay as a teacher and compensation for jury duty or as a witness. Evidence of both services and remuneration is to be provided by the teacher. Court duty leave does not apply to employees who have a need to appear in court for personal matters or because of litigation against the school corporation.
