Tool Allowance/Provision Of Tools. The Employer agrees to reimburse all recognized tradespersons whose job descriptions require them to hold a licence and who are required to use their own tools in the Employer’s business, up to $150.00 per year pro-rated on a monthly basis. The Employer also agrees that such payment shall be made on the last cheque in each calendar year, or upon termination of employment as applicable. Exclusive of the normal tools referred to above, the Employer agrees to make available the necessary tools required for the repair of equipment or machinery, as may be required. All tools issued by the Employer shall remain the property of the Employer. Effective January 1, 2003 the tool allowance shall be increased to $175.
