Common use of Training Time Clause in Contracts

Training Time. The District may assign any employee to training at his or her straight-time hourly rate, as the District deems necessary. Employees assigned training of less than eight (8) hours may be required to work all of their shift which does not conflict with the training time. Training time shall be considered as time worked for purposes of calculating overtime.
