Common use of Transfer of Sick Leave Clause in Contracts

Transfer of Sick Leave. 13.1.3.1 Employees who have worked for other Oregon public employers shall, after completing thirty (30) working days in the District, be allowed to transfer all sick leave hours accumulated in another Oregon public employer provided that the amount of sick leave transferred shall not exceed the accumulation carried by the most recent employing Oregon public employer. 13.1.3.2 For purposes of determining retirement benefits, employees may transfer an unlimited amount of earned and unused accumulated sick leave from another Oregon public employer.
