Transport to and from MODU. The Company will provide each Employee transport at no cost to the Employee from the designated reporting point to the MODU and return. The Company will make travel arrangements to reflect minimum waiting times for Employees. The cost of transfers, accommodation and reasonable meal expenses will be met by the Company. If an Employee chooses not to use the transit transport then the cost is at the Employee’s own expense. If an Employee is unable to complete the journey to the MODU through no fault of the Employee then the Employee shall be paid as though they had commenced duty in accordance with the roster. If an Employee is required by the Company to standby at a place other than their residence or the designated crew change assembly point, the Employee will be provided with appropriate accommodation and meals in accordance with the Company’s policy, at the Company’s expense. At no time shall the Company be liable for expenses incurred for alcohol consumed by the Employee, or damages incurred as a result of an Employee’s behaviour. Reasonable meal costs will be reimbursed to the limit advised by the Company from time to time. Any costs exceeding that advised limit will be the responsibility of the Employee.
