Travel Period. Travel Period means a period of time within the Coverage Period commencing from when (i) the Insured Person crosses the international border of the Country of Residence to leave that country on a Common Carrier if the Geographical Scope specified in the Certificate of Insurance is Overseas OR (ii) the Insured Person departs from the City of Residence to leave that city on a on a Common Carrier if the Geographical Scope specified in the Certificate of Insurance is Domestic; OR (iii) the Insured Person departs from the City of Residence on a Common Carrier and immediately thereafter as part of the same trip crosses the international border of the Country of Residence to leave that country on a Common Carrier if the Geographical Scope specified in the Certificate of Insurance is Overseas + Domestic, (a) The Insured Person crosses the international border to return to the Country of Residence on a Common Carrier if the Geographical Scope specified in the Certificate of Insurance is Overseas OR returns to the City of Residence on a Common Carrier if the Geographical Scope specified in the Certificate of Insurance is Domestic OR returns to the City of Residence on a Common Carrier immediately after crossing the international border of the Country of Residence on a Common Carrier as part of the same trip if the Geographical Scope specified in the Certificate of Insurance is Overseas + Domestic; OR (b) the coverage expiry date specified in the Certificate of Insurance; OR (c) the expiry of the maximum period of time per trip specified in the Certificate of Insurance.

Travel Period. A part-time employee with hours of work scheduled in two workplaces on the same day will be allowed a reasonable paid travel period.
Travel Period. An employee with hours of work scheduled in two workplaces in the same shift will be allowed a reasonable paid travel period, including mileage reimbursement as per article 19.04.

  • Transition Period Due to the nature of our purchasing process, the District often requires an existing service provider to continue to provide goods and/or services while the District is in the process of advertising, evaluating, and awarding a contract for the provision of the same goods and/or services in the future. To accommodate this process, the Contractor shall agree to maintain the same terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement for a period up to ninety (90) days after the automatic termination of this Agreement at the end of its term, if requested by the District, as a transition period. In addition, if the Contractor is not the successful bidder for a future solicitation for the same or similar services, he or she shall agree to provide the same goods and/or services provided in this Agreement for a period up to ninety (90) days to allow for an orderly transition to the new provider. The District and the Contractor may mutually agree to a longer transition period.

  • Meal Period Employees shall receive a meal period which shall commence no less than two (2) hours nor more than five (5) hours from the beginning of the employee's regular shift or when the employee is called in to work on their regular day off. The meal period shall be no less than one-half (½) hour nor more than one (1) hour in duration and shall be without compensation. Should an employee be required to work in excess of five (5) continuous hours from the commencement of their regular shift without being provided a meal period, the employee shall be compensated two (2) times the employee's straight-time hourly rate of pay for the time worked during their normal meal period and be afforded a meal period at the first available opportunity during working hours without compensation.

  • Travel Time Leave provided in paragraphs A and B of this Article shall apply to and cover actual and necessary travel to and from such meetings required during normal working hours on the day of the meeting or negotiations, except that MSEA-SEIU bargaining team members traveling 100 miles or more to negotiations shall be entitled to travel time outside of days of negotiations.

  • Vacation Period ‌ The choice of vacation periods shall be granted to employees on the basis of seniority with the Employer except where the period requested would be detrimental to the operation of the Employer.

  • Travel Pay Any employee required by the Employer to travel to a place of work other than his/her regular official duty station shall be reimbursed for travel costs, if eligible, in accordance with University policy.

  • Service Term XOOM agrees to act as your exclusive natural gas supplier and will provide competitive retail natural gas service to you.   • Sick Leave Donation Program A Labor Management Committee will be established for the purpose of proposing rules and procedures for a new, program. The LMC will be to develop consistent, transparent and equitable proposals for processes across all departments within the City. The LMC shall also explore proposals to lower the minimum leave bank required to donate sick leave and permit donation of sick leave upon separation from the City. The LMC must consult with the Office of Civil Rights to ensure compliance with the City’s Race and Social Justice Initiative. Once the LMC has developed its list of proposals, the City and Coalition of City Unions agrees to reopen each contract on this subject.

  • Transitional Period At the end of the transitional period as defined in Article 10(2) of the Directive, the contracting parties shall cease to apply the withholding/retention tax and revenue sharing provided for in this Agreement and shall apply in respect of the other contracting party the automatic exchange of information provisions in the same manner as is provided for in Chapter II of the Directive. If during the transitional period either of the contracting parties elects to apply the automatic exchange of information provisions in the same manner as is provided for in Chapter II of the Directive it shall no longer apply the withholding/retention tax and the revenue sharing provided for in Article 9 of this Agreement.

  • Travel Allowance 18.01 The existing Board travel allowance shall be paid to an Occasional Teacher. This shall only apply when replacing an itinerant teacher.

  • Prime Time Vacation Period Subject to the provisions of this article, it is the intent of the parties that no employee will be restricted in the time of year they choose to take their vacation. The Employer will make every effort to allow employees to take their vacation during the period of April 15th to October 15th inclusive, which will be defined as the prime time vacation period.
