Common use of Travel Premium Clause in Contracts

Travel Premium. Employees who are in travel status and incur an overnight stay outside of the headquarters area shall receive one-half (1/2) hour of compensatory time off in lieu for each overnight stay. If the compensatory time off in lieu cannot be liquidated by the end of the vacation year, then payment in cash will be made at the employee’s straight-time rate of pay as of March 31st.

Travel Premium. Employees who are in travel status and incur an overnight stay outside of the headquarters area shall receive one-half (1/2) hour of compensatory time off in lieu for each overnight staystay up to and including fifty (50) overnights in a vacation year. Employees who are in travel status and incur an overnight stay outside of the headquarters area of more than fifty (50) overnights shall receive one (1) hour of compensatory time off in lieu for each overnight stay in a vacation year. If the compensatory time off in lieu cannot be liquidated by the end of the vacation year, then payment in cash will be made at the employee’s straight-time rate of pay as of March 31st.
