Overtime Premium Pay. (a) Time and one-half (1½) the employee’s regular straight time rate shall be paid for all hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours in any one workweek. (b) Paid time for the following reasons shall be counted as hours worked for the purpose of computing an employee’s overtime work: holidays, vacation days, paid time off that is scheduled per Section 13.7(d), bereavement leave, witness leave, jury duty leave, doctor/dental time and compensatory time.

Overtime Premium Pay. Section 1 The Board shall pay an employee for overtime at a wage rate of one and one half (1.5) times the employee's wage rate for all hours worked over forty (40) in a week. Section 2 Any employee required to work on a paid holiday shall be paid double (2) times his/her regular rate in addition to his regular pay for hours actually worked. This bonus shall be paid to all second or third shift employees. Section 5 In the event overtime is needed, employees in the same classification will be notified by email. Employees who respond to the overtime request will be assigned by seniority rotation. If no regular bargaining unit employee accepts the work, the District will fill the time with a substitute employee. Employees may choose to take overtime pay or compensatory time with the approval of the Superintendent or his designee. Section 6 Employees may not hold two (2) part time positions that will cause the regular payment of overtime compensation. This provision does not apply to employees hired prior to July 1, 2014. Section 7 If an employee performs the duties in another position or classification, based upon a leave of absence of one (1) week or more of a higher paid employee, the transferred employee will be paid the higher rate of pay if actually performing the duties, as determined by the Director of Business Operations, of the higher ranked/paid position.

Overtime Premium Pay. 1. Employees shall be compensated at a rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) of regular rate (as calculated in the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act) for: a. All hours in excess of forty (40) hours during the; b. Hours worked on a calamity day. The WECP and Board agree to promptly bargain the effects with respect to pay of WECP unit members from any change in Ohio law regarding calamity days and required make-up of one or more such days. The Bargaining shall commence within 10 calendar days of the written notice to negotiate. If agreement is not reached within 45 calendar days of the notice to negotiate, the dispute shall be submitted to final offer binding arbitration before an arbitrator selected in accordance with the voluntary rules of the American Arbitration Association. The selected arbitrator shall be asked to provide optional hearing dates as soon as possible after the end of the 45 day bargaining period. 2. Employees required to work on a paid holiday shall receive one and one-half (1-1/2) plus their regular rate. 3. Employees shall not be required to work at special functions, i.e., jobs outside their regular workday. If an employee consents to work at special functions, the rate of pay will be at the one and one-half (1-1/2) rate if the work is performed beyond the forty (40) hour work week, or, by mutual agreement with the supervisor, compensatory time may be taken at the same rate of one and one-half (1-1/2). 4. Overtime shall be offered to all employees in a building who normally perform the work to be done, on a rotating seniority basis. For each employee, a record shall be maintained by the supervisor as to the amount and date of overtime thus worked. No employee shall be forced to work overtime. 5. Accumulated overtime shall be paid in the pay next succeeding the pay period in which the overtime was accumulated. 6. Unit members who are awarded extracurricular contracts shall be paid at the base rate established by the Board for all hours worked under the extracurricular contract (“extra-curricular base rate”). All hours worked at the employee’s regularly assigned job(s) will be paid at the negotiated hourly rate(s) for those jobs. The hours worked for the regular assignment(s) will be calculated for the work week before any hours under the extracurricular contract. Overtime Premium Pay. SECTION 1. All employees in the job classifications covered by this Agreement shall receive time and one-half (1-1/2) their regular rate of pay for all hours worked in excess of forty (40) in one week, subject to Section 3 of this Article. SECTION 2. All employees who work on a recognized holiday shall receive time and one-half (1-1/2) their regular rate of pay for all hours worked on the holiday, in addition to their regular holiday pay as provided herein. SECTION 3. For the purpose of computing overtime pay, holidays and vacations shall be considered hours worked. Paid sick leave shall not be considered hours worked. An employee may not claim overtime pay with another form of premium pay for the same hours worked (i.e., pyramid overtime pay). SECTION 4. Employees must submit a request to work overtime to their immediate supervisor within seventy-two (72) hours after the monthly schedule has been posted. SECTION 5. A daily sign-up sheet shall be provided for employees who want to work unscheduled overtime. If sufficient employees do not voluntarily sign-up, the Employer shall assign the overtime work to qualified employees on duty in the inverse order of seniority. Assignments will continue in inverse order of seniority until everyone has worked or until the start of a new pay period. Employees must work such overtime when assigned.

(g) An employee required to work three or more hours of overtime will be provided with a meal or an allowance of $6.00.
