Type 2D Interconnection. 6.2.2.10.6.1 Type 2D Interconnection is a direct final route trunk group between a VZW Point of Interconnection and the Operator Services Tandem for the delivery of calls (i.e., Directory Assistance, National Directory Assistance, Operator Services). Type 2D Interconnection is a direct route to the Operator Services Tandem only. Type 2D trunks are available as one way out, mobile to land (to the Qwest Operator Tandem); they are not available as one way in or for paging. Qwest offers Signaling System 7 (SS7) and Multi-frequency (MF) signaling on Type 2D Interconnection.
Type 2D Interconnection. A Type 2D Interconnection is a trunk-side connection directly to an CenturyLink Operator Services System switch that provides access to operator services call processing capabilities. Where Carrier requires ancillary services (e.g., Directory Assistance, Operator Assistance), separate trunks will be provided at Carrier's expense as required for interconnection and routing to such ancillary services. The Parties will utilize either two-way or one-way directionalized trunking on shared facilities where available and technically feasible. Orders between CenturyLink and Carrier to establish, add, change or disconnect trunks shall be processed by utilizing the existing electronic Access Service Request ("ASR"), or such other industry standard that replaces the ASR.

  • SS7 Network Interconnection 9.7.1 SS7 Network Interconnection is the interconnection of Global Connection local signaling transfer point switches or Global Connection local or tandem switching systems with BellSouth signaling transfer point switches.
