Common use of Types Clause in Contracts

Types. The College may require testing for illegal use of drugs, or alcohol level. The College will not ask that the samples provided for this purpose be used for other purposes. Testing may take place only under the following circumstances: 1. Pre-Employment - Applicants for employment who have received an offer of a job contingent on passing the substance abuse test. 2. Behavior Indicated (Reasonable Suspicion) Testing -- When the Executive Director of Human Resources has reasonable and specific grounds to believe that the actions, appearance and/or conduct of an employee are indicative of using alcohol or drugs, other than authorized and reported prescription or nonprescription drugs and that a test of the employee shall produce evidence of the illegal use of drugs or evidence of use of alcohol.
