UNEP. 37. On behalf of UNEP, Head of MEAs Support and Coordination, Xx Xxxx Xxxxxxxx was pleased to be able to participate in the meeting and see the needs of AEWA and how these could be reflected in the work of UN Environment. He outlined the resolutions, which the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA) had adopted at its second Session in May 2016, highlighting those of particular significance for the AEWA Strategic Plan 2009 – 2018 (see document AEWA/StC 12.6). He also stressed the importance of the linkages between the strategic plans of the biodiversity-related MEAs and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and pointed out the UNEP publication to that effect, which had been launched at UNEA2.

Report on the Implementation of the AEWA Strategic Plan 2009-2018 The Secretariat will present the conclusions and recommendations of the Standing Committee on the implementation of the AEWA Strategic Plan 2009-2018 (Doc. AEWA/MOP 7.10). The Meeting will be invited to comment and take note of the report and to review and adopt the draft resolution on AEWA’s Contribution to the Aichi Targets and relevance of the Sustainable Development Goals (AEWA/MOP7 DR2 Rev,1). Report on the Implementation of the African Initiative and the Plan of Action for Africa 2012-2018 The Secretariat will introduce the report on the implementation of the African Initiative and the Plan of Action for Africa 2012-2018 (Doc. AEWA/MOP 7.11). The Meeting will be invited to comment and take note of the report.

  • CURVE WIDENING The minimum widening placed on the inside of curves is:  6 feet for curves of 50 to 79 feet radius.  4 feet for curves of 80 to 100 feet radius.

  • Cash Shortages No employee may be required to make up cash register shortages unless he or she is given the privilege of checking the money and daily receipts upon starting and completing the work shift, and unless the employee has exclusive access to the cash register during the work shift and unless cash is balanced daily, except as specified below. No employee may be required to make up register shortages when Management exercises the right to open the register during the employee's work shift, unless the register is opened in the presence of the employee and the employee is given the opportunity to verify all withdrawals and/or deposits.   • PARTS OBSOLESCENCE LOCKHEED XXXXXX may desire to place additional orders for Work purchased hereunder. SELLER shall provide LOCKHEED XXXXXX with a "Last Time Buy Notice" at least twelve (12) months prior to any action to discontinue any Work purchased under this Contract.

  • Cost Estimate An estimate of the total project cost including but not limited to direct expenses, indirect expenses, land cost, and capital expenses.

  • Severe Weather An employee who is late for a scheduled shift during a severe weather day will be offered the opportunity to work his/her full regular schedule of hours if work is needed, without suffering any pay deductions taken from such employee’s regular scheduled work day providing such employee completes his/her shift. Severe weather days are days when weather hampers mass transit (e.g. buses and ferries) from transporting travelers to their destinations. If weather conditions are such that driving to work would be hazardous, roads are closed, or travel to work would result in extreme hardship, an employee may use his/her PTO time if unable to report for work. EIB is not available for severe weather days. Employees are required to provide notification as soon as practicable if they are going to be late or unable to report for work.

  • Cost Estimates If this Agreement pertains to the design of a public works project, CONSULTANT shall submit estimates of probable construction costs at each phase of design submittal. If the total estimated construction cost at any submittal exceeds ten percent (10%) of CITY’s stated construction budget, CONSULTANT shall make recommendations to CITY for aligning the PROJECT design with the budget, incorporate CITY approved recommendations, and revise the design to meet the Project budget, at no additional cost to CITY.
