Unexcused Absences. An unexcused absence is a part of a student’s school record. Students will be marked for an unexcused absence for: • Failure to Attend School: Failure to attend school, with or without the knowledge of the parent/legal guardian, for reasons other than those specifically outlined as excused absences will be considered unexcused absences.
