Uniform Allowance Where uniforms are required, the Hospital shall either supply and launder uniforms or provide a uniform allowance of per year in a lump sum payment in the first pay period of November of each year.
Uniform Maintenance Allowance 22.1 The City provides uniforms or uniform allowance for employees represented by the Association. The City will continue to replace, repair and maintain uniforms worn in the line of duty. The average cost of the uniforms/uniform allowances are reported as special compensation (for those employees defined as “classic employees” by the Public Employees’ Pension Reform Act of 2013 for retirement calculation purposes and is currently reported as $17 per pay period.
Shift Allowances (a) An Employee whilst on afternoon or night shift must be paid for such shift 15% more than the Employee’s ordinary rate.
Cleaning Allowance The University will pay for the cleaning of Department issued uniforms and necessary work clothing requiring cleaning worn by employees assigned to non-uniformed positions.
Tool Allowances The Employer shall supply all tools and equipment required to perform the work.
Meal Allowances Employees assigned to be in travel status between the employee's temporary or permanent work station and a field assignment shall be reimbursed for the actual cost of meals including a reasonable gratuity. Shoe Allowance The Employer will provide reimbursement to full time employees who have completed probation and who are employed in the kitchen and stewarding departments, once per year in the amount of $60.00 and once every two years in the amount of $60.00 for maintenance and banquet housepersons. The amount shall increase to $75, effective January 1, 2007. Employees will receive said amount as long as the shoes are approved by the employer and as long as the shoes are worn on the job. Payment will be made on or about July 1 upon presentation of proof of purchase.
Cash Allowances (a) The Guaranteed Price includes cash allowances as set out in the Specifications which shall be expended as Owner directs through the Consultant by a Cash Allowance Disbursement Authorization.
Boot Allowance The District will pay $180 toward the purchase and/or repair of work boots for District Employees listed in the District’s Work Apparel Policy and/or at the discretion of the employee’s department manager. Payment will be made by the first full paycheck of the employee’s date of hire and annually thereafter. Boots must meet applicable OSHA standards for the duties assigned.
Site Allowance All new construction and extension/refurbishment work having a project value in excess of $2.0m will attract the then current City of Melbourne Site Allowance.
