For more information visit our privacy policy.Footwear Where an employee is required by the College or by legislation, in order to perform his/her duties, to acquire and wear protective footwear, the employee shall provide the College with proof of purchase by March 1 each year and the College shall reimburse such employee, on the first pay day in April in each year, up to a maximum of one hundred and fifty dollar ($150.00). In situations other than the foregoing, the College may, in its discretion, (which discretion shall not be unreasonably exercised) reimburse such expense where it is recommended by the health and safety committee constituted under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Protective Footwear Effective January 1, 2014, and on that date for each subsequent calendar year, the Hospital will provide $120 per calendar year to each full-time and each regular part-time employee who is required by the Hospital to wear safety footwear during the course of his duties. The employees who will be required to wear safety footwear will be negotiated locally and set out in the Local Provisions Appendix. Note: The existing central language designating the classifications of employees which are deemed to require appropriate safety footwear shall be transferred to the local appendix.
Safety Footwear 1. The State will provide employees in the positions listed in Section 3 below, and employees who are currently required to wear safety footwear by Department Work Rules, an allowance of one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) for replacement of safety footwear. This allowance will be paid to employees on a semiannual basis, with half paid in January and half paid in July to eligible employees on the payroll at the time of the payments. Employees of Departments with work rules that provide such safety footwear will not be eligible for the safety footwear allowance. 2. Safety footwear purchased must meet ANSI standards where applicable. Requirements for the wearing of safety footwear will be in accordance with work rules published by the State. 3. Positions required to wear safety footwear:
Uniforms and Protective Clothing 33.1 Where the employer requires an employee to wear a uniform, it shall be provided free of charge, but shall remain the property of the employer. 33.2 Suitable protective clothing shall be provided at the employer's expense where the duty involves a risk of excessive soiling or damage to uniforms or personal clothing or a risk of injury to the employee.
Shoes All uniformed staff shall be provided with 2 pairs of shoes annually, replaceable on a normal wear and tear basis.
Bilingual Pay Where the Employer currently pays bilingual pay or bonuses, it shall continue to do so. The Employer retains discretion to initiate bilingual pay or bonuses. The minimum bilingual bonus or hourly equivalent is $25 per pay period. The Employer may not require an employee to use bilingual skills without paying the appropriate bonus or pay. This does not apply to employees where such skills are in the classification specification.
Gross Beta Flags A = Result acceptable, Bias <= +/- 50% with a statistically positive result at two standard deviations (Result/Uncertainty > 2, i.e., the range encompassing the result, plus or minus the total uncertainty at two standard deviations, does not include zero). Uniforms The Employer shall supply and maintain uniforms for employees who are required to wear same.
Branding 5.2.1 Except as stated in Section 5.2.2 of this Attachment, in providing Verizon Telecommunications Services to CBB, Verizon shall have the right (but not the obligation) to identify the Verizon Telecommunications Services with Verizon’s trade names, trademarks and service marks (“Verizon Marks”), to the same extent that these Services are identified with Verizon’s Marks when they are provided to Verizon’s Customers. Any such identification of Verizon’s Telecommunications Services shall not constitute the grant of a license or other right to CBB to use Verizon’s Marks. 5.2.2 To the extent required by Applicable Law, upon request by CBB and at prices, terms and conditions to be negotiated by CBB and Verizon, Verizon shall provide Verizon Telecommunications Services for resale that are identified by CBB’s trade name, or that are not identified by trade name, trademark or service xxxx. 5.2.3 If Verizon uses a third-party contractor to provide Verizon operator services or Verizon directory assistance, CBB will be responsible for entering into a direct contractual arrangement with the third-party contractor at CBB’s expense (a) to obtain identification of Verizon operator services or Verizon directory assistance purchased by CBB for resale with CBB’s trade name, or (b) to obtain removal of Verizon Marks from Verizon operator services or Verizon directory assistance purchased by CBB for resale.
International Shopping Goods estimated to cost less than $100,000 equivalent per contract may be procured under contracts awarded on the basis of international shopping procedures in accordance with the provisions of paragraphs 3.5 and 3.6 of the Guidelines.
